Pantry Sort — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 September 2026
Pantry Sort is published under the EastonHill developer name. Contact games@eastonhill.app for privacy questions and requests.
Privacy choices in the updated game
From version 1.1.0, the game uses Google's privacy-message flow to handle applicable advertising and gameplay-analytics choices together. A message is shown where the configured flow requires one. For eligible players, gameplay analytics may start without a separate prompt where that flow does not require consent. An unavailable or unresolved consent decision does not enable gameplay analytics. Analytics and advertising permissions remain separate.
You can turn gameplay sharing off in the game's privacy settings at any time. An earlier choice to turn it off is preserved across the update. Turning sharing off stops future gameplay-analytics collection and resets local analytics data; it does not delete reports already received. Where available, Google privacy choices in the same menu lets you revisit your consent.
Checking for game updates
From version 1.1.0, the game uses Firebase Remote Config and Google Play's in-app update service to check available updates and supported game versions. Remote Config processes a Firebase installation identifier and technical information such as app version, operating system, language, country and time zone to deliver configuration. This service supports app functionality and is separate from optional gameplay analytics. We do not use Remote Config experiments or personalised configuration rules in this update.
An ordinary update can be postponed. An update marked essential can require installation when Google Play confirms an eligible update is available for your device. This does not give us your Google account password or access to your other apps. Google handles the installation. See Firebase's data information.
Your game and your choices
No account is required. Puzzle progress, earned coins, settings and advertising timing are stored on your device. We do not operate a cloud-save service. Device backups may retain app data according to your device settings.
Optional gameplay analytics
In versions before 1.1.0, gameplay sharing is off until enabled in Settings → Privacy & Gameplay Data. From 1.1.0, the privacy choices described above apply. When sharing is enabled, Google Analytics for Firebase receives gameplay events, puzzle and attempt identifiers, app/build versions, usage time, and advertising impression and value events. Firebase also processes an app-instance identifier, device and app information, and network information such as IP addresses used to infer approximate location. We use these data to understand reliability, progression and aggregate engagement. We do not ask you for your name or email in the game, and do not enable Firebase advertising-ID collection or advertising personalization signals for this analytics integration.
You can turn gameplay sharing off at any time. This stops future analytics collection and resets the local Firebase analytics identity. It does not delete data already sent to Google. Firebase may temporarily store events on the device for delivery when connectivity returns. Provider retention settings and applicable legal obligations govern previously collected data; we retain data only as needed for the purposes described here.
Advertising
Pantry Sort uses Google AdMob for optional rewarded ads and ads between completed puzzles. Automatic ads are not eligible until at least five minutes of cumulative active gameplay from version 1.1.0 (15 minutes in earlier versions), with additional pacing rules. An internet connection is needed for ads. A rewarded ad grants five additional moves only after the SDK confirms the reward; declining an ad leaves free undo and restart available.
The advertising SDK and its partners may process device identifiers, IP address and approximate location, advertising interactions, and diagnostic or performance information to deliver, measure and protect advertising. The SDK also collects crash reports for debugging and analysis. Where required, a consent message lets you accept, refuse or manage purposes and partners before eligible ad requests. Use Ad Privacy Choices in the privacy menu to revisit available consent options. Advertising consent is separate from optional gameplay analytics. The game does not request precise device location, contacts, microphone or camera access.
Providers, security and transfers
Google processes information through its services and may process it outside your country. Network transfers by the Google SDKs use encryption in transit. No system can guarantee absolute security. Read Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy and its explanation of partner-site/app data at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. The consent message identifies participating advertising partners where applicable.
Children
Pantry Sort is intended for a general audience aged 13 and above and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has supplied personal data, contact us. Advertising is configured with a general-audience ad-content rating; that setting is not an age-verification service.
Your rights and contact
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or request portability. Contact games@eastonhill.app. We may need proportionate information to verify and locate a request; do not send passwords or sensitive identity documents unsolicited. Because no player account is required, we may not be able to associate an analytics record with your identity. You may also contact your local data-protection authority. Email correspondence is handled only to respond and administer your request.
Deleting the app or clearing its storage removes its local data, subject to device backups. This does not automatically erase previously collected provider data. We may update this policy when the game's data practices change; the date above identifies this version.
